What it is like
A herb. It grows 70 cm tall. It has rhizomes. The stems are erect and grey-brown with red nodes. The leaves are broadly oval and unequal on opposite sides. They are 9-17 cm long by 12-22 cm wide. They have 5-6 lobes spread like fingers on a hand. The base is heart shaped. There are irregular teeth along the edge. They are silver-grey with dark green along the veins. They are reddish underneath. The leaf stalk is green to red and 7.5 cm long. The flowers are white with pink tinges. The fruit are oval capsules 1 cm long.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in Kalimantan.
