What it is like
A small tree. It grows 1-6 m tall. The branches can be smooth or hairy. The leaves are simple and without lobes. The leaves at the crown are in groups of 4. The blade is 3-18 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 2.5-4.5 m long and 1-3 cm across.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in coastal rainforest in Brazil. It grows between 50-800 m altitude.
