What it is like

A ginger family herb. It forms clumps. It has false stems 30-50 cm tall. There are 5-6 leaves. The leaf blade is narrowly sword shaped. They are 15-20 cm long by 3-5 cm wide. The flowering shoots hang down. They are 3-11 cm long. There are bulblets. The flowers are small and yellow.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. In southern China it grows at about 1,300 m above sea level. In Queen Sirikit BG. In Yunnan.
