What it is like

A large creeper. It can grow 20 m long. It can climb trees and then hang down and they have side branches. The stems have red gum when cut. The leaves are 20 cm long. There are 8-12 leaflets in either side. The flowers are in a group 10-12 cm long at the ends of the branches. The flowers are purple. The fruit is a flat pod 6-11 cm long by 1.5-3.5 cm wide and with one seed.
