What it is like

A tree. It grows 45 m high. The crown is densely branched. The trunk is 65 cm across. The bark is plae grey and peels off in large plates. The leaves are alternate with an odd number of leaflets and a leaflet at the end. The leaf stalk is 3-7 cm long. There are 3-5 leaflets. The flowers are greenish-yellow. The fruit are 2 cm long by 1.5 cm wide and fleshy. They are orange.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in lowland rainforest between 400-550 m above sea level.
