What it is like

A bamboo. It grows 2-4 m tall. The culms are 1-3 cm across. The internodes are 15-20 cm long. There are 6-10 branches at each node. There are 2 or 3 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blades are 4-11 cm long by 1 cm wide.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in Yunnan in China between 2,900-3,600 m altitude.
