What it is like
A shrub. It grows 3 m tall. It can be a tree 10-15 m tall. The young stems have grey hairs. The branches spread at right angles. The leaves are opposite and 11 cm long by 6 cm wide. They are narrowly oval. There are several flowers in a group. They are hairy. They are yellowish-green. The fruit are 15 mm long by 10 mm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in tall forest in the shrub layer.
