What it is like
A straggling shrub or woody herb. It grows 30-170 cm tall. The leaves are crowded on short side shoots. The leaves have 3 leaflets that are 9-25 mm long by 6-13 mm wide. They are hairy. The flowers are yellow with some red of brown colouring. The pod is oblong and 20-28 mm long by 5-6 mm wide. They are hairy and there are 14-20 seeds. The seeds are 3-4 mm long.
