What it is like
A bushy herb. It grows 1 m tall. The leaves have 3 leaflets. The leaflets are broad and 4-6 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The flowers are in long groups 15-28 cm long. They are yellow. The fruit is an oblong pod that gradually narrows. The seeds are 4-4.5 mm long and brown.

It is a tropical plant. It grows 300-1,100 m above sea level.
