What it is like

A tree. It grows 30 m tall. The leaves are alternate and narrowly drop shaped. They are 14-50 cm long by 4-12 cm wide. Male and female flowers are separate. The male flowers are in groups of 6-10 and they are 12-35 mm long. The female flowers are in groups of 3-5 and are 6-11 mm long. The flowers are yellow. The fruit are egg shaped and orange to red. They are 13-18 mm long by 11-18 mm wide. The pulp is orange.

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 1,300 m above sea level.
