What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 10-20 cm high. The rootstock is slender and lies along the ground covered with wilted leaf bases. The leaves near the roots have long stalks and usually 3 lobes. The leaf blade is 5-10 cm long and fleshy.

Also put in the family Fumariaceae.
