What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 6 m tall. Young branches are densely hairy. The leaves are alternate and 2-6 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The fruit is a nut 16-25 mm long by 15-18 mm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In Ethiopia it grows between 200-300 m above sea level.
