What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 30 cm to 6 m tall. It can be creeping. The young shoots have ridges and are often hairy. The leaves are usually opposite and narrowly oblong. They are 1-8 cm long by 1-4 cm wide. The flowers are in groups. The fruit is golden yellow and 1-2 cm long by 1 cm wide.
