What it is like
A shrub or tree. It grows 5 m tall. The bark flakes off. The leaves are alternate and oval and have a few large teeth along the edge. The fruit are round and fleshy with a tip at the end. They are 1-2 cm long and 0.7-1 cm wide. They are green and turn yellow when ripe. They are in a cup shaped structure.

It is a Mediterranean plant.
