What it is like

An evergreen tree. It grows 10-19 m high. The leaves are sword shaped. They are 10-20 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. The edges are wavy. The flowers are small and greenish-yellow. They are in groups 12-19 cm long at the ends of branches. The fruit are 5 cm long and 4 cm across. They have a large stone.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in southern China in mountains between 600-800 m altitude. In Yunnan.
