What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 5 m tall. The bark is yellow to greyish brown and is not peeling. Young branches have furrows along them. The leaves have 5-9 leaflets along the stalk. The leaflets are narrowly oval and 3-9 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The male flowers are in 20-60 cm long drooping groups. The female flowers are in 5-13 cm long erect groups. The fruit are 14-18 mm long by 11-15 mm wide. There is a shallow red cup around the base.
