What it is like
A small tree. It grows 9 m tall. The trunk can be 25 cm across. The bark is smooth. The fruit hang down. The fruit are green and turn yellow when ripe. They are 10 cm long by 5 cm wide. They are irregular shape. The pulp is white and sweet.
Also put in the family Capparidaceae.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It has been collected at 1,200 m above sea level in Bolivia. It grows in dry deciduous forest.
