What it is like
A herb. It grows 30-120 cm tall. The stems have lines along them. The leaves have 3-9 leaflets. These are 1-4 cm long by -.4-1 cm wide. The flowers are in a loose group at the ends of the branches. The fruit is a narrow capsule 4-10 cm long by 3-4 mm wide.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in sandy flats and amongst rocks.
