What it is like
An onion family herb.
There are about 35 Nothoscordum species. They have also been put in the family Alliaceae.
Where it is found
In Peru it grows in the Vilcanota Valley, hills of Canchis. In Argentina it grows between 3,000-4,100 m above sea level.
