What it is like

There are about 800-1000 Ficus species. They are mostly in the tropics. There are 120 Ficus species in tropical America. Not in The Plant List.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in forests that are occasionally flooded and along river banks.

Asia, Cambodia, China, Himalayas, Indochina, Malaysia, SE Asia

The fruit are edible but not popular.
