What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1 m tall. It is densely hairy. The leaves are oval or round and 3-5 cm long by 3-5 cm wide. There are coarse teeth along the edge. There are 1-3 flowers in a group on the ends of leafy branches. They are tube shaped and red.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in dry thickets on open slopes in valleys between 1,200-1,700 m above sea level in Yunnan.
