What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1.2 m high. The leaves are 12-19 mm long by 4-6 mm wide. The leaves are oval and taper towards the tip and have teeth along the edge. The flowers are white. They have 5 petals. The fruit are white.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. In Chile it grows from about 500 m to over 2,000 m above sea level. In Argentina it grows from sea level to 1,500 m above sea level. It suits hardiness zone 7. It can tolerate frost and snow.
