What it is like
A slender herb. It grows each year from seed. It grows 70-120 cm tall. The root is elongated. The leaves have leaflets along the stalk. These are sword shaped and divided in lobed segments. These are 3-7 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They have fine teeth. The flowers are white or pink.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. In Nepal it grows between 2100-3500 m altitude. It grows in moist shady places. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
