What it is like
A straggling shrub. The flowers are large. The fruit are oval and 5 cm long. They are red.
There are about 250 Rubus species.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in the tropical highlands. In the Andes it grows between 2,000-3,400 m above sea level.
