What it is like
A herb. It has a tuberous root. This is 3-4 cm across. It produces annual stems 30 cm tall. They have small hairs. The leaves are scale like and then the upper ones are narrow and 12 cm long by 0.5 cm wide. The flowers occur singly near the axils of the leaves.
It is a rare plant.
