What it is like

A climbing plant. It has a small underground tuber. The leaves are oval and 5-6 cm long by 2 cm wide. The flowers are 4 cm long. They have a tube that is mottled reddish-brown. The petals are broad and united at the end.

There are about 160-200 Ceropegia species. Also put in the family Asclepiadaceae.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows at low altitudes below 20 m above sea level.
