What it is like

A climbing herb. It has thin wiry stems. It keeps growing from year to year. The flower tube is white and fattened and curved. The fruit are narrow and in pairs. They are 7-12 cm long.

There are about 160-200 Ceropegia species. Probably now in Apocynaceae.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows in savannah woodland and in forests along rivers.
