What it is like
A cactus which is 6 sided in cross section. It is columnar and 4 m high. It produces pear-sized red fruit. They contain a sweet, juicy, white, fig-like pulp. The fruit are not spiny.

Where it is found
A tropical plant. It needs good drainage.
