What it is like
A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 1 m high. It has a sort rootstock. This produces 1 or 2 winter buds that develop into shoots with leaves and flower stems. The leaves are twice divided. Te flowers are small and greenish-white. They are in compound groups 5-7 cm long and 6-8 cm across the top.
Where it is found
It is a temperate plant. It grows in the mountains of central China. It grows between 1,300-3,400 m above sea level. In Sichuan.
