What it is like
A vine or creeper. Young leaves are simple and mature leaves have 3 lobes. The leaves are 7-25 cm long and wide. There are 1-9 flowers on a flowering stalk. The fruit is 2-3.5 cm across. They have a scent. There are 2-3 seeds and they are 12-14 mm long by 2-3 mm wide.
