What it is like

A tree. It grows 15-30 m tall. The bark is brown and cracked. The leaves are narrowly oval and 8-22 cm long by 408 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 1-2.5 cm long. They are in a capsule covered with spines.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the forest between 1,000-1,300 m above sea level.
