What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 3-10 m tall. Occasionally it is taller. The trunk can be 60 cm across. The branches are hairy. The leaves are oblong and and they can be hairy underneath. They are 8-15 cm long by 3-4 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. There are 10-15 flowers in a group. The fruit are a flattened round shape and have 3 lobes. They are yellow to roange and have rusty hairs. The pulp is reddish and there are 8-15 seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows from the lowlands up to 1,250 m above sea level.
