What it is like
A tree. It grows 35 m tall. The trunk is 45 cm across. It has low buttresses. There are 5-10 flowers in a group. The fruit are broadly oval and green and turn yellow to orange when ripe. They are 4 cm long by 3 cm wide. There are 1 or 2 seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in rainforest up to 800 m above sea level.
