What it is like
A thorny bush. The branches are hairy. It has spines that can be straight or slightly curved. The leaves are alternate. They are oval. The leaf blade is thick. The flowers are small and yellow. They have 4 petals.
There are about 250 Capparis species. There are about 50 Capparis species in tropical America. It has anti-estrogenic properties helping increase milk production.
