What it is like
A shrub. The leaves are narrowly oval. The flowers occur in small numbers in the axils of leaves. The fruit are in groups almost without stalks. The fruit is cream and oval. They are succulent and edible. The fruit are oval and 1.3 cm long.
Where it is found
It grows as an understorey tree in the evergreen forests between 1,600-2,200 m altitude.
