What it is like
A shrub or tree. It grows 3-21 m tall. The larger leaves are 10-17 cm long by 4-7 cm wide. They are narrowly oval and wedge shaped at the base. They usually taper to the tip. The flowering shoots are 6-18 cm long. The flowers are pink or white. The fruit are red and 10-12 mm across.
