What it is like
A shrub. It grows 1-2 m tall. The leaves are in unequal pairs. The larger leaf is 10-20 cm long by 4-8 cm wide. The flowers are in groups of 2-7 in the axils of leaves.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in wet places and beside streams between 700-1,000 m above sea level in southern China. In Yunnan.
