What it is like
A herb. It grows up to 85 cm tall. It keeps growing from year to year. The leaves are oval or sword shaped and 4-10 cm long by 2-4 cm wide.
There are 15-20 Lychnis species.
Where it is found
It grows in woodlands on low hills, wet shady scrub meadows in China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
