What it is like
A succulent herb. It keeps growing from year to year from a tuber 10 cm across. There can be one or several stems from the base. These grow 30 cm long. They have soft hairs. The leaves are narrowly oval and 1-3 cm long by 0.5 cm wide. There are 2-3 flowers are the nodes.

It is a subtropical plant. It grows in grassland.
