What it is like

An annual grass. It grows 90 cm high. The leaf blades are sword shaped and 5-25 cm long by 8-25 mm wide. They are heart shaped at the base. The edges have teeth like crinkles. The flower stalks are 5-20 cm long and have 3-14 groups of flowers.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows under light shade of deciduous bushland. In grows between 400-1,800 m above sea level.
