What it is like

A herb. The stems are 10-35 cm long. The leaves are narrowly oval and 3-10 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. The base is wedge shaped. They are more pale underneath. The flowers are white or pink. The capsule is hairy and 6-8 mm wide.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. In Nepal it grows at about 1,700 m above sea level.
