What it is like
A herb that keeps growing from year to year. The leaves are opposite and only have short stalks. They are oval or sword shaped and 5-8 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The base is wedge shaped. The flowers are pink. They are in the axils of leaves and do not have stalks.
Where it is found
It grows in alpine meadows and in high mountains.
