What it is like

A herb that grows each year from seed. The stems are round. It grows 10-35 cm tall. The leaves can be simple or compound. The flowers are pink or yellow and in groups at the ends of the branches.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. In Ecuador it grows between 2,400-3,000 m above sea level.
