What it is like
A shrub. It is trailing and prickly. The leaves have stalks. They are alternate and have leafy structures near the base. They are divided into leaflets along the stalk. There are 3-5 leaflets which only have short stalks. These are oval and end in a sharp point. They have fine teeth. There is a hairy white layer underneath. The fruit have stalks. They are pinkish. The fruit is black when ripe.
Where it is found
In Nepal they grow between 1400-2400 m altitude. They grow in moist, shady places.
