What it is like
A spiny shrub. It can grow 3 m tall. The leaves are dark green and narrowly oval. They have spines around the edge. The leaves are 35 mm long and 25 mm wide. They occur in clusters of 2-6. The flowers are yellow to orange and have a scent. The flowers are in groups of up to 25 flowers. The fruit are dark blue and round and 6 mm across.
