What it is like

An onion family plant. It can have one or more bulbs. The leaves are narrow and 2-5 mm wide. The stalk is 13-15 cm long. The flowering head is half round with loose flowers.

Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows on slopes and in meadows between 2,700-4,600 m in southern China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
