What it is like

A herb. It has a rhizome 1.9 cm across. The leaves are at the base. They are broadly oval and unequal on opposite sides. They are 7-26 cm long by 6-21 cm wide.


Where it is found

It is a subtropical plant. It grows on the edge of coastal forests on raised coral rocks by the sea shore and below 100 m above sea level.
