What it is like
A fern that grows in soil. The fronds have leaflets along the stalk. The fronds are 50 cm long by 26 cm wide. There are 2-5 side leaflets/ They are rounded at the base and pointed at the tip.

Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in lowland mountain forests in shaded places by streams between 20-1,600 m above sea level.
