What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It grows 4-8 m tall. The leaves are narrowly oval and 4-10 cm long by 2-4 cm wide. They are leathery. There are 3-9 flowers in a group near the ends of branches. The fruit are purple when ripe. They are oval and 1.5 cm long by 1 cm wide. There is one seed.


Where it is found

A tropical plant. It grows between 600-1600 m altitude in Yunnan in China. In XTBG Yunnan.
