What it is like
A medium sized tree. It grows to 20 m high. The trunk is 90 cm across. The leaves are compound. There are 3 pairs of leaflets plus a leaflet at the end. The leaflets are 10-20 cm long by 6-12 cm wide. The fruit are 3.5 cm long. There is one seed per fruit.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. It grows in lowland forests between 300-700 m above sea level.
